Stepping into the South Tyrol-style lounge at Schartnerhof for breakfast was like entering a cozy Italian dream. The wood-burning stove crackled as we savored eggs from the farm, homemade cakes, and jams, all served with the warm hospitality of the family owners.Our room, adorned with light wooden furniture, offered breathtaking views of the mountains and the lush garden below. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay incredibly relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring nearby Bolzano.We took advantage of the pet-friendly accommodation and enjoyed leisurely evenings on our balcony, savoring salads and cold cuts grilled on the BBQ set in the garden. The serene surroundings and considerate guests made for quiet nights, ensuring a good rest before embarking on our daily hiking adventures.The location, though secluded, was ideal for us, just a short drive from the main roads and touristic routes. The free WiFi allowed us to stay connected when needed, even managing to work one evening while soaking in the tranquil ambiance surrounding the farmhouse.Schartnerhof was a hidden gem that offered a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Italian charm. From the delightful breakfast spread to the picturesque views and warm hospitality, our stay was a true reflection of the beauty and serenity of South Tyrol.
